HONOR CODE STATEMENT

The following applies to all assignments, exams and discussions unless other criteria are announced. Check the course syllabus and each assignment for particular criteria.

STATEMENT

There is nothing wrong with using other people's ideas to supplement and support your own -- in fact it is essential that you do this if you are to support your arguments -- however, it is essential that you make it clear to the reader that other people's ideas are not yours. In any assignment, exam or discussion -- when you express someone else's ideas, you must include information that tells everyone whose idea it was. As long as you do this, you will not get into trouble.

BE WARNED: IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO KNOW AND FOLLOW THE RULES REGARDING THE USE OF OTHER PEOPLE'S IDEAS.
