GROUP [HFCL TUTORIAL: SELF AND SOCIETY]
Sociology is the study of human groups. The minimal definition of the term implies two or more humans who are able to communicate with one another.

Communication theorists are often concerned with the study of communiation processes within groups of a certain size or constituancy. E.g., dyads (groups of size 2), small groups, organizations; or, the 18-34 age group, religious groups, political groups, and so on.
